Refunds & Returns
You may return or exchange any of the following items to the Signs In The Making Aurora showroom for any reason, for a full refund, if the item is unopened or unused within 7 days of purchase or delivery:
- Any unused stock signage including stock riders, stock standups, stock license plate covers or stock coroplast tents.
- Any unopened (still in its plastic wrap) markers or miniature real estate sign buisiness card holders.
- Any unused feature sheet holders or business card holders.
Please note that we cannot accept the return of opened items, VaultLock lock boxes, or items returned more than 7 days past purchase or delivery. We can only process returns and refunds for items purchased at Signs In The Making or Signsinthemaking.ca.
Replacement of Damaged of Defective Items
If you received a defective item that is sold by SignsInTheMaking.com and need to replace it with the same item, please call 416-406-0002 to make a request. Replacement will be determinded on a case by case basis.
Returning a Gift Card
- Gift Cards are not returnable after purchase.

Returning Customized Products
Customized products include products that are personalized or custom printed. Customized products cannot be returned and are non-refundable. Online orders not approved within 30 days cannot be returned or refunded. Online orders older that 30 days are eligible of store credit only. Art Charges, cropping fees & setup fees are non-refundable.
Gift Card Terms and Conditions
1. Redemption
Signs In The Making Gift Cards may only be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible goods and services at www.signsinthemaking.com or in our Aurora showroom location. Once purchased a Gift Card discount code will be emailed to the buyer in the amount purchased. Gift Cards are single use only and must be used in the amount's entirety. There is no carry over balance left on the card (gift card discount code). If a purchase exceeds your Signs In The Making gift card, the remaining amount must be paid with another payment method. No service fees apply to Gift Cards.
2. Limitations
Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value or redeemed for cash, except to the extent required by law.
3. Refunds
Items purchased with your Signs In The Making Gift Card that are returned for a refund are subject to our Refund Policy. A new Signs In The Making gift card will be issued in the refund amount.
4. Risk of Loss
The risk of loss and title for Gift Cards pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission of the Gift Card to the purchaser or designated recipient, or our delivery to the carrier, whichever is applicable. We are not responsible if any Gift Card is lost, stolen or destroyed, or any Gift Card is used without your permission.
5. Use of Gift Card in Violation of these Terms & Conditions
We will have the right to void Gift Cards, close customer accounts and bill alternative forms of payment if we suspect that a Gift Card is obtained, used or applied to an Signsinthemaking.com purchase fraudulently, unlawfully or otherwise in violation of these terms and conditions.
6. Limitation of Liability
THE LAWS OF CERTAIN JURISDICTIONS, INCLUDING QUEBEC'S CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE BELOW DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS, OR LIMITATIONS MIGHT NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MIGHT HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.
WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO GIFT CARDS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT A GIFT CARD CODE IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, WILL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF THAT GIFT CARD.
7. General Terms
The SignsintheMaking.com Conditions of Use apply. Gift Cards are issued by Signs In The Making Aurora.
When you purchase, receive or apply a Gift Card to a purchase, you agree that the laws of the Ontario, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these terms and conditions and any dispute that may arise between you and Signs In The Making to your use of a Gift Card. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time in our discretion. All terms and conditions are applicable to the extent permitted by law. If any of these terms and conditions are deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that unenforceable term will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining terms and conditions.
For Quebec consumers: These terms and conditions and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Signs In The Making related to your use of a Gift Card will be governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable in Quebec.
8. Gift Card Expiration
Your Signs In The Making Gift Cards do not expire and may be applied to your Signs In The Making eligible purchases. Gift Card expiration dates do not apply in any province solely to the extent prohibited or limited by law.
